Kellan Lamberti is a children’s book author based in the Midwest United States. Born as the sixth of seven children in a large, lively family, she grew up surrounded by siblings, cousins, and the constant hum of family life. That early experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for community, belonging, and the journey of discovering one’s own unique voice, an understanding that now permeates her writing.

Kellan draws inspiration from family, travel, and the natural world. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and has raised two children while nurturing her lifelong love of storytelling. Her stories are made to encourage curiosity, empathy, and self-understanding.

Bixbee’s First Adventure began as a fleeting image of a tiny bumblebee embarking on courageous adventures while Kellan was driving to work, her children both under three years old. Years later, that vision became a story celebrating bravery, friendship, and the joy of helping others. I Am POUG emerged as a heartfelt poem inspired by a special person in her life navigating gender fluidity. What started as a personal reflection blossomed into a story that has touched readers across generations, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness.

Through her books, Kellan hopes to spark meaningful conversations between children and adults, inspiring young readers to be exactly who they are, care for others, and appreciate the wonders of the world around them. When she is not writing, she enjoys traveling with her husband and delighting in the journeys of her grown children as they forge their own paths.
